VBS 2020 - CONCRETE & CRANES

BOOST, PUSH, FULL SEND, and COLOR WARS:

Get ready for a Mount Carmel VBS like you've never seen before!

We are so excited to have VBS this year! Please read the details below very carefully, as there are MANY new and exciting changes to this year's schedule.

When you register your kids online, please make sure to note their shirt size. Each child will receive a VBS shirt and bandana in their registration packet the week before VBS starts. They will be assigned to one of two color groups; Red Team - Cranes

Blue Team - Concrete

Kids will need to wear their team color each day. Teams will compete in games throughout the week.

Each year we do an offering competition. This year, instead of boys vs. girls, it will be Red vs. Blue! The winners will be decided not just by how much money they bring for missions, but on Teamwork and Team Spirit as well.

MC KIDS

Welcome to a vibrant ministry that is dedicated to helping children birth to 6th grade begin to discover God’s love in a personal way. It is our desire to partner with parents to implement a plan at home on teaching Biblical values during life, not just at church.

What to expect on your first visit?

All kids' activities, birth to 4th grade, are in the children's ministry area. From the main entrance, turn right and the Children's Ministry is at the end of the hall.  There you will find check-in stations for you to check in your child using our electronic check in system. Please allow extra time for first time registration for your family. Each child will be taken to appropriate age class and then parents go to worship and/or Bible study.

All 5th & 6th grade student activities are in the Student Building in rooms Y7-8 and Y11-12. Middle Schools check-in station is located at the Student Building main entrance.

How Check-in Works

Parents of children from birth-4th grade will need to check-in and pick-up their children every Sunday/Wednesday. You may check in your child at the Children's Ministry Area. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you. In the event that we need to contact you during the service, a text will be sent to your cell phone. We ask that you exit the Worship Center or your Sunday School and report to the Children's Ministry Area.

Middle School Schedule

Middle School Ministry exists to encourage 5th and 6th graders to find their place in Christ. This ministry allows preteens to learn God's Word in a way that they can apply to their lives. We value middle schooler's relationship within the small group setting as they relate to their leaders in the groups.

Sunday Morning

Sunday School is designed to give these students a place where they can connect with God, with other people, and of course have fun.

Sunday School meets at 9:00am in the Student Building in rooms Y7-8 & Y11-12.

Wednesday Evening

The Edge is a place to feel comfortable, to challenge one another in their relationships with Christ, and to spread God's love. If you like playing Gaga Ball and Minute to Win It, we have a place for you. The Edge meets Wednesday nights from 6:15pm-7:30pm in rooms Y7-8 & Y11-12.
