Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

At Mount Carmel we get excited about opportunities to go on mission!  We believe what God said in Matthew 28:19, that we were to "go and make disciples of all nations".  Mission opportunities can be found anywhere from halfway around the world to right here in our own community.  We would love to help you see where and how you can live Life On Mission!

Living Life On Mission

Over the next several months, there will be mission trips to both the United Kingdom and Panama. We are looking forward to partnerships that will develop with the ministries in these areas, and how we can help spread the gospel in these places. Those interested in going to either Panama or the United Kingdom must complete the Mission Trip Application.

2022 Missions Fair

Each October we have our Mount Carmel Missions Fair. This is where we ask our local missions partners to come and tell us all about their ministry and show us how to get involved. Our booths this year consisted of: Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief, HIS Plans, Keep The Faith Foundation, F.I.R.S.T. Care, Backpacks for Kids, Options Pregnancy Center, Mount Carmel Missions, and Lottie Moon.

2022 Colorado Springs

In July a group of Mount Carmel Students, and some leaders, went to Colorado Springs, CO to assist Anchor Point Church with reaching their community.
They led sports camps, canvased neighborhoods, and shared the gospel.

How We Support Our Missionaries

Mount Carmel is a part of the Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program.  This means that when you give your tithes to the church, our church gives 10% of all tithes to the Cooperative Program through the Arkansas Baptist State Convention (ABSC).
The ABSC gives funds to Arkansas missions such as the Arkansas Baptist Children's Home, Camp Siloam, Christian Education, Disaster Relief, Church Planting, and the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).

The SBC then gives funds to the North American Missions Board, Theological Education, Ethics and Religious Liberty Ministries, and the International Missions Board (IMB).

And the International Mission Board gives funds to IMB Missionaries that baptized almost 48, 000 people, shared the gospel with over 535,000 people, started 12,368 new churches, and engaged 827 people groups.

Because of this, when you give to Mount Carmel, you are a part of helping people all over the world have life-changing encounters with Jesus.
